Job Description:
- Good high-level understanding of network architectural designs.
- RFPs/RFIs: design, solution specification, product information.
- Leading technical discussions, articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value
- Conducting compelling solution presentation, demonstrations and POCs
- Report project activities, analyze project trends and provide market vision.
- Scope of work documents and execution plans.
- Coordinate with end users to prepare the testing scenarios and test cases.
- Coordinate with systems vendors and end users for systems testing and training.
- Good understanding of network security architecture in enterprise network environments (Zero trust networks)
- Good understanding of Application layer protocols.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol and its troubleshooting from a network security perspective.
- Good knowledge and experience of Fortinet, Palo Alto, Nokia, Cisco and Huawei.
- Making recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operational costs
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Telecommunication Engineering preferably in Networks. Will consider related field (or equivalent) experience.
- Minimum of 8 years postgraduate Fiberoptic networks design experience. Abu Dhabi experience is preferable.
- Certification for Network courses mainly CCNA, CCNP etc. are preferable.
- Significant proven experience in comparable role within an ISP or Telecoms organization
- Planning, designing and upgrading network installation projects
- Network architects should also have experience working with routers, switches, cabling and other essential network hardware.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to analyze problems, issues & needs and provide robust but adaptable solutions which meet current and future requirements.
- Experience of presenting to large groups

- Solid understanding of Network Analytics, Security Metrics.
- Solid understanding of: Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security, Network Security, Vulnerability and Risk Management, Endpoint Security, Identity and Access Management
- Effectively plans and organizes own workload.
- Ability to effectively articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to evaluate end-user business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, develop and implement the appropriate technical solution
- The ability to handle objections and resistance to change
- Good Knowledge of Routing/MPLS.
- Knowledge for DWDM and different transmission media.
- Experience of ITIL is desirable
