Role: Senior Organizational Development (OD) Specialist
The Senior Consultant is responsible for developing, executing and monitoring the Benefits and Business Case for the Client’s Digital Transformation. Contributing to this objective, the Senior Consultant will lead the development of a Benefits Categorisation Framework, Benefits Profile(s), Benefit Realisation Plan(s), Benefit Gating Framework, Case for Change, Change Strategy, and Success Metrics.
Day to Day Operations
- Identify and qualify benefits for the Client
- Develop Benefit Realisation Plans
- Lead Benefits Realisation Plan execution and monitoring
- Conduct 2-3 Design Thinking workshops to develop a change vision
- Define and cascade a compelling ‘case for change
- Define a change strategy, encompassing elements of how to run an organizational change management program
- Define ‘success’ for the program with expected outcomes and success metrics
- Obtain feedback and refine the change narrative for sustained resonance
- Ensure alignment with the program benefits and change management processes for any expected change to the benefits or value realisation (quantitative, qualitative, or timeline)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Development or other relevant discipline
- Relevant OD and/or change management, HR certification is desirable
- 8+ years’ experience leading change management initiatives and organizational design
- Direct experience contributing at a senior manager level to high profile Digital Transformation programs or Change Management projects
- Experience working in a commercial consulting team environment or internal transformational unit at a large enterprise
Job Specific Skills
- An expert understanding of OCM within the context of digital transformation programs
- Comprehensive knowledge of designing, constructing and monitoring benefits cases and cases for change
- Ability to translate client input into workable solutions to facilitate deliverables
- Excellent communication skills including research, writing, facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of different types of OD and change management frameworks, tools and methodologies
- Knowledge and ability to apply process redesign methods
- Ability to diagnose root causes of organizational issues, problems and potential opportunities
- Knowledge of key OD and OCM trends and their relevance in different industries
- Sound knowledge and experience with tools like PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, Visio etc.
- Analytical and systems thinking, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to effectively involve project stakeholders to drive and implement organizational objectives
- Strategic thinking with a high attention to detail
