Senior Executive Officer (‘SEO’) - is responsible for the success of a technology focused Web 3 Investment Fund. The SEO provides direction and facilitates senior management in carrying out its governance functions. The SEO will be responsible for securing and managing the Investment pipeline, managing the investment program for the Fund/s and playing an integral role in fundraising.

Responsibilities

Oversee overall management, operations and functions of the Investment team.
Implement and formulate investment strategies.
Lead institutional marketing on new client pitches and assist in product development, positioning of funds for marketing and client servicing.
Ensure that the Firm complies with all relevant laws, regulations and codes of best business practice.
Regularly review processes and procedures to ensure the effectiveness of its internal systems of control, so that its decision-making capability and the accuracy of its reporting and financial results are maintained at a high level at all times.
Attend regular meetings with the Investment Committee on Funds’ and segregated portfolios performance and outlook.
Ensure the Firm is appropriately organized and staffed and to hire and terminate staff as necessary to enable it to achieve the approved strategy;
Communicate effectively with shareholders, employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders and the public.
Identify key risk areas and key performance indicators of the business and monitor these factors
Abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Firm’s standards and policies.
Liaise and maintain a relationship with governing regulators

Requirements:

Min of 10 years experience in IB/Asset Management/VC/PE.
Successful track record of creating and implementing investment funds.
Well developed knowledge of Web 3 projects is preferred or exposure to Tech projects is helpful.
Strong network and relationships across business, government, and technology across the GCC region.
Experience in managing a relationship with ADGM or DIFC is preferred.
