Be part of a world class rail project in the UAE and make a major contribution to an iconic project. Make a difference, lead a world class risk management function supporting our client in developing and executing the risk management programme whilst identifying, analyzing and evaluating risks on the UAE freight and passenger railway network. The railway will redefine logistics and transport in the region, providing a modern, safe, efficient and sustainable network which will connect the seven emirates of the UAE to its neighbouring GCC countries.
As the Risk Manager you will have oversight on managing the direct the day-to-day activities of the risk Management effort to achieve strategic goals. The position forms part of the senior leadership team, where you will have responsibility for managing risk throughout the programme with a circa value of $4 billion. This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge, develop and mentor the team, partner with the Client and PMC and to demonstrate your knowledge and experience with process flow/process analysis, internal audit and meeting facilitation. You will be assessing impact and potential risks associated with change orders, reporting and presenting to our senior management / board level personnel using ARM or similar whilst providing guidance to the team. Your key objective is ensuring the quality of the risk management processes are in conformance with established programs, policies, processes and regulations.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have a degree in Engineering with extensive experience in assessing and mitigating risk. You must be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership and client relationship skills on large-scale programmes as risk management leader. Experience in the GCC region and Running and interpreting Monte Carlo simulations is essential.
