We are looking for a People Manager to take the reins of our operational HR program in Oman, covering the full employee value chain, from sourcing to onboarding, to development to maintenance to reward. And more importantly, we are seeking someone who can genuinely elevate our People support offering. You will help shape our workforce of the future, ensure that we have the right capabilities in place to deliver great outcomes for Worley and our clients. Enhancing employee experience and driving efficiency.
Core responsibilities:
- Accountable for the quality of the Human Resources service delivery in Oman
- Development and delivery of the location People program. You can influence, advise and lead on all People related matters.
- Management of the People operating model – including the integration of an evolving shared service element
- Oversight of all Omanization, ICV, Immigration and Employee Relations activities and engagements
- Supporting global, regional and sub regional initiatives or Centre of Excellence (COE) programs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in change management / integration / transition / transformation planning
- Policy integration
- Global project exposure
- Experience of managing teams within the Human Resources field
- A tertiary qualification in, Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Management, Psychology or similar
- Fluency in Arabic and English at a professional level (speaking, writing, reading)
- Very good knowledge of Oman labour law is essential
- Knowledge of payroll and essential regulations with regards to tax/social security law
- An affinity for digital processes and a positive outlook on the future of digitalization
- Experience of strategic HR business partnerships at executive level is highly preferred
- Exposure to complex, multinational business – ideally within a matrix environment
- The ability to engage and influence senior partners via consultation and negotiation
- Knowledge of temporary employment in Oman (internal and external)
- A hands-on, collaborative mentality
- Willingness to travel to site locations within Oman
