 Position Summary

1. Improve customers' purchase experience and maximize sales by devising platform strategies, collecting business requests, developing services and spreading them globally.
2. Contribute to sales and conduct tasks including promotions and strategic task launching effectively through stable platform operation.
3. Lay a solid foundation for stable platform operation through infrastructure advancement and security/performance(Website's download speed and back-end performance)/architecture enhancement.

Role and Responsibilities

1. [Platform Strategy] Execute the process of collecting business requests, establishing business processes, planning services and designing solutions.

2. [Project Management] Push for the enhancement/roll-out(development specification, timeline, budget) of functionalities and advancement of new functionality development.

3. [Platform Operation] Drive task launching, incident management, enhancement of security and infrastructure, download speed improvement, search engine optimization(SEO) and tagging work.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Online Business Team and regional eStore Lead to develop the eStore strategy, aligning local subsidiaries’ sales plans and operations to meet deadlines and schedules
  • Support with launching new eStore programs and sellout functionalities: cascade strategy to local subsidiaries to maximize sales growth of eStore
  • Optimize category performance on the eStores, collaborating across Key Account Management, Sales, Site Merchandising, Product Marketing and technical teams  
  • Educate and share eCommerce best practices and work closely with cross-functional teams to roll out eCommerce initiatives
  • Support subsidiaries with promotion and sales planning and drive regional events across all markets
  • Manage eCommerce KPIs for traffic, sales, acquisition and customer interaction on the eStore
  • Compiling weekly & monthly reports – feeding back to the senior management team and advising on strategy
  • Collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to optimize the customer journey and conversion rates
  • Support in developing eStore platform and feature enhancements along with key stakeholders from different regions (including but not limited to payment methods, customer journey improvements, sellout enablers)
  • Support local markets with fulfillment, payment gateway functionalities and other operational topics
  • Drive actionable consumer insights (through web analytics and competitive landscape benchmarking) to improve user experience and platform capabilities
  • Ensure that all local sites meet Samsung standards in terms of UX, packaging, logistics, customer care, etc.
  • During the development and launch phase, support eStore Lead with development, operational process design, SIT and UAT, assist during technical requirement gathering and planning exercises
  • Being an effective, assertive and professional member of the project delivery team by developing consensus across different stakeholders internal and external
  • Answering and prioritizing business requests while leading on a series of initiatives aiming at ensuring that the eStores are always up‐to‐date and perform at their best

Skills and Qualifications

The role requires excellent business acumen and good stakeholder management as well as technical skills.

  • At least 5 to 7  years of relevant work experience within a fast growing eCommerce environment
  • Ability in planning, managing, executing and tracking of eStore sales enhancement projects
  • Proven experience in eCommerce sales and project management, with deep knowledge of e-commerce trends, competitive landscape and digital customer experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (can‐do approach)
  • Strong problem solving skills to identify areas of issues and opportunities, evaluate options and provide clear recommendations/strategic plans for business growth
  • Comfortable in a cross-functional environment; flexible and open to ideas from all areas and levels of the organization, while also confident and decisive in a matrix organization
  • Ability to handle multiple demands efficiently, while being extremely organized and maintaining high attention to detail
  • Outstanding stakeholder management on different levels and geographies
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to track and generate data based insights
  • Solid understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices
  • Possess an innovative and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively.
