Integrated Logistics Manager, Kuehne Nagel, Dubai, UAE

We are searching for an experienced Integrated Logistics Manager to join our business to help drive forward the best logistics services available in the market.

Your Role

Your main mission is to manage and oversee Integrated Logistics team in Dubai with a focus on implementation, and operational excellence. You will be ensuring efficient operations on a day-to-day basis and streamline department activities. Moreover, you are the representor of the department to key customers and suppliers in various sectors (such as high-tech customers) and promoting department's development.

Your Responsibilities

Responsible for and has the authority to direct the client relationship, management of the client contract, client P/L and for client specific services.
Manages direct resources and closely interacts with shared resources to use for client, other Business Managers, LCC Managers, and Solution Development and Implementation resources
Ensure the needs of the customer are being met by KN Integrated Logistics at a cost that enables profitable performance
Identify opportunities for new business, e.g. new regions or solutions, expansion into subsidiaries
Engage customer in value-add discussions and proactively offers
Reduce cost-to-serve, e.g. by operational excellence, IT support, error rate reductions, process optimization)
Engage frequently in continuous improvement discussions with the customer (e.g. joint business reviews, executive interaction) as well as internal IL departments)
Disciplinary and functional responsibility of the customer services team
Giving guidance and motivation to the team by continuous training and performance measurement
Develop the team member’s skills according to needs / targets as output of the Performance Management Review Process

Your Skills and Experiences

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Logistics Industry & Supply Chain with a focus on Contract Logistics & Air Logistics & Customs Clearance.
Excellent knowledge in Supply Chain & Distribution Services.
Commercial acumen to build partnership and relations based on trust and reliability.
Strong negotiation, analytical and leadership skills.
A very good understanding of project management discipline and solutions.
Advanced level of English
