The opportunity
You will be responsible for leading and managing a project, or part thereof, under the supervision of your line manager.
You will fully understand and comply with the project execution plan and ensure that all relevant parties you lead and supervise also understand these project targets in your day-to-day management of the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handover manager with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, technical knowledge of handover and fit-out works and snagging/close-out process.
Managing and monitoring consultant and contractor on required client handing over procedures.
Training of client handing over the system to the consultant.
Monitoring and assisting with coordination of the trades at the site.
Assisting to resolve site design issues with effective solutions, prior to handing over.
Managing and monitoring rectifications and replacement of any substandard works.
Chairing progress meetings of completed and required work.
Scheduling weekly look ahead target programs.
Close monitoring of weekly steady progress and generating KPIs.
Monitoring status of works prior to handing over.
Managing close out of issues, with proper follow-up and feedback to stakeholders.
Daily site visits to monitor and control quality and progress.
Point of contact between site and client/handing over the department, to organize customer bookings and readiness of assigned units.
About you
You have a bachelor's degree in a related field of construction management or design. You are a member of a professional construction-related body. You possess a solid understanding of infrastructure, utilities, and project management.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
