Job Purpose
Coordinate the participation in external remuneration and benefits surveys and provide the HR Department with benchmark data analysis. Coordinate Global Mobility assignee calculations and monitoring of third party payments including tax payments and agreed services.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
The post holder works under the auspices of the Agreements & Market Survey Lead and the Head of Compensation and Policy.
Qatargas operates in a complex HR/Compensation environment. This presents particular challenges in conducting/participating in remuneration surveys and analysis of market data to balance the competitiveness of the package to different markets and nationality demographics.
Key Job Accountabilities - I
Coordinate market research of compensation, benefits and allowances, including assessing trends in reward methodologies by participating in local, regional and international compensation and benefits surveys conducted by external agencies.
Analyses international and regional compensation and benefits survey reports and market trends and practices and prepares reports for presentation to HR Management and Company Management showing relevant trends and the Company’s position in relation to the market.
Benchmarks internal jobs/roles through preparing a job list for job matching to external market data provided by third parties.
Provides a report of consolidated salary benchmark and survey data provided by external agencies on a biennial basis.
Prepares, conducts, analyses and reports on internal compensation surveys both within Qatar and Company global offices.
HR Focal Point for all international assignees in relation to determining the individual Foreign Service Allowance for each assignee, monitoring the medical insurance and emergency evacuation contracts and ensuring all international assignees are tax complaint in host location by working closely with international accounting firm.
Extensive negotiating with parties regarding provision of information and services and ensuring work is delivered as per requirements and strict adherence to timelines regarding tax matters to ensure the Company remains 100% tax complaint for all international assignees.
Key Job Accountabilities - II
Collects data, information, and provides services and support regarding matters related to market surveys, international assignees, Third Party payments and tax compliance, internal and external to the Company.
Administer HR Third Party payments process via the SAP system, by creating relevant purchase orders, service entries and by validating service requests submitted by the business to ensure compliance with Agreements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent.
Knowledge and/or Experience
8 years’ HR experience, including 3 years exposure to compensation and benefit surveys and market analysis.
Exposure to SAP HR and Purchasing Modules.
