WSP are looking for an Authority Approvals Manager to join our ongoing projects in Jeddah Saudi Arabia.
The Authority Approvals Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the engagement of statutory authorities and interface between the project teams and authorities to meet project needs.
Your new role, what's involved?
- Responsible for coordination and engagement between statutory authorities and the business.
- Engage with both Municipalities and supporting utility services providers and the business.
- Advise the business on the legal and other requirements of statutory authorities in KSA.
- Advise the various disciplines in the business on the submission requirements for building permits and NOCs.
- Expediter of data. Engage with authorities to establish the basic and unique project requirements for non-standard complex projects.
- Advise and assist in the preparation of submission packages for statutory requirements and authority submissions.
- Collaborate and coordinate with authorities to understand, clarify and agree requirements for complex projects.
- Act as the leading interface between the business and authorities.
- Take responsibility for obtaining building permits and NOCs from Municipalities and Utility services providers.
- Extensively engage within the business between all major disciplines and specialist services to limit project delays due to approvals.
- Follow-up with authorities (in person and digitally) and possess expert knowledge of the workings and requirements of authorities, and is extensively experienced in liaising with authorities in KSA.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Architecture
- 5-10 years post-qualification experience
- Experience of multi-disciplinary engineering on large residential and commercial projects
- Experience of working closely with a large PMC team to deliver high quality projects within a demanding environment.
- Based in KSA and can work in the Kingdom without restrictions
