You will be part of
Technical Support delivers responsive and reliable solutions to Milestone Partners through application of knowledge of Milestone organization, services and products. You will support EMEA Sales team by Educating and Training Milestone Business Partners and empowering the Milestone community by growing their expertise in designing and implementing Milestone solutions.
What you will do in a typical day at Milestone
- Delivery of Professional Services (installation, configuration, systems audit, troubleshooting, etc.); delivery may be remote or onsite, thus requiring travel
- The installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Milestone software.
- Deliver Technical Support services when required, for Milestone software and appliances.
- Accurate submittal of business expenses for the month to Operations Planners/Finance at the end of each job.
- Develop and improve the Professional Services procedures, processes, and tools - actively participate in their optimization.
- Promote Professional services.
- Maintain a working understanding of Milestone software and hardware solutions.
- Work directly with Milestone Sales Teams, Partners and in some cases, End-Users.
- Work directly with customers to plan service delivery and agenda for onsite and remote Professional Services scenarios.
- Manage personal travel itinerary
How you can match
- Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Native-level verbal and excellent written communication skills in English
- At least 5 years' work experience providing technical support for external clients
- Demonstrate good analytical problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with remote service delivery and troubleshooting
- Experience with PC hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Good understanding of IP Network technologies and experience in administering Windows OS
- Knowledge of Microsoft AD user/group authentication
- Good technical understanding and practical experience with Microsoft Windows Server operat-ing systems
- Knowledge of Wireshark (or equivalent tool)
- SQL Express Management Studio knowledge
- Strong technical knowledge of Milestone products.
- Reliable, Open, Independent, Flexible & Innovative.
- You are willing to travel approximately 40 days per year
