Senior Associate – Talent Acquisition - short term one year, Aldar, Abu Dhabi, UAE

 JOB PURPOSE

 

  • Assist in the execution of the recruitment strategy;
  • Support departments in the selection and recruitment of talent.
  • Ensure recruitment target are achieved as per the set plan.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Evaluate the recruitment P&Ps and documents used, suggest improvement plans as adequate;
  • Use the recruitment channels to headhunt potential candidates and fill vacant position;
  • Shortlist candidates resumes and present profiles to manager – L&D;
  • Liaise with the hiring managers to review the shortlisted candidates and agree on interviews;
  • Contact and coordinate with shortlisted candidate for attending interview
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with Recruiting Panel and candidates on decisions and communication
  • Attend interviews when required, assess candidates and provide accurate feedback after interviews;
  • Liaise with Employee Relations on finalizing recruitment paperwork and legal/ immigration restrictions to open file with all the employment details;
  • Prepare offer letters, follow-up with candidates, and answer queries about package and other related job offer information;
  • Prepare, record and archive all documentation related to the recruitment process, (from approved manpower plans, to departmental requests, advertisement placements, interviews conducted, acceptances and rejections of employees);
  • Constantly update and maintain online Job Portal with job openings;
  • Schedule/attend recruitments events to source candidates;
  • Headhunt qualified UAE nationals to achieve annual targets set;
  • Assist in identifying vacant positions in conjunction with the hiring manager and lock for UAE nationals;
  • Assist in identifying junior positions which can be occupied by UAE nationals, develop a plan to recruit UAE nationals on those positions in conjunction with N-1;
  • Maintain a database of qualified UAE nationals for future recruitment.
  • Manage relationship with external recruitment agencies. Communicate and follow-up with Recruiting agencies (if needed) for specific positions;

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

 

·       Regular working hours, Indoor office

RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Min of: 6+ years of experience in a Human Resources position within a leading regional organization in the recruitment department.

YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION

Min of: N/A

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in real estate or related industry is preferred
  • Previous experience in the HR division of a company with 300+ employees
  • In depth knowledge of human resource management best practices
  • Experience in recruiting is a must

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Existing relationships with key third party HR and recruiting firms
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication
 

Qualifications

 
  • Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent is required
  • HR-related certificates (e.g., PHR, SPHR, etc.)
