What you'll do

Lead the Swvl intercity business in Middle East, Pakistan and Kenya with full P&L responsibility
Be a leader of country leaders. Create a support ecosystem for the country leaders and help them hire and develop the best.
Execute in short-term sprints while setting and maintaining a long-term strategy & vision towards achieving the company’s goals in the markets.
Accountable for his/her portfolio countries Operations, Customer and Driver Experience, Supply/Partner relationships, and work closely with HQ (some functions are dotted line reporting to HQ) to set strategy and drive execution in a matrixed environment.
Engage with local regulatory and policy partners and authorities within the transportation ecosystem to unlock licensing of the managed fleet side of the business.
Work cross-functionally and collaborate with the central product team to communicate the product needs to grow Swvl in the region.
Initiate creative local marketing strategies and user growth campaigns targeted both at the consumer and bus operators/ partners through the local and central demand teams.

What you'll be

You hold a degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
You have a senior regional leadership experience gained through 10+ years of operations or business management.
You have a background in (transportation, ride hailing, logistics, e-commerce, consulting, investment banking) or similar industries as well as in project management.
Superb analytical skills and the ability to use data to back up assumptions and take daily decisions.
Fluency in English and (Arabic or Urdu) is required
Willingness and availability to travel across portfolio countries, and perform other duties as needed.

You are organized. You deliver on time & handle competing priorities well.

Stellar relationship building skills and the ability to make smart partnerships happen, from inception to execution.
