Job Purpose & Responsibilities
- Participative support and technical collaboration in the field of process safety for achieving company targets of production, quality, cost, safety and environmental goals
- Identify and document Process Safety Information (PSI) from the equipment and the process standpoint
- Support to identify and monitor key performance indicators (most importantly, leading indicators) to track the progress of PSM on regular basis
- Participate and provide technical inputs during audits for site management of change (MOC), and pre-start up safety review process (PSSR)
- Participate and document the PHA/hazard evaluations of each phase for every plant in the complex. Provide technical expertise in determining the necessary risk mitigation for an accident scenario during PHAs/HAZOPs, or as a stand-alone task.
- Participate in incident investigations / root cause analyses
- Identify process safety requirements and interlinking of inspections, preventive maintenance plans and equipment reliability programs
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or Equivalent.
- Good in communication and problem solving.
- Technically proficient in areas of process safety and loss prevention.
- 10 Years’ experience in process engineering/Process Safety of relative magnitude
