Social Media & Community Strategy will play an integral role in Huspy's mission. We understand the huge impact that clear, considered, and engaging content will have on the success of our business and expansion of our community.
Challenging the status quo is at our core, which is why we also look at content a little bit differently. We believe the user experience starts the moment a person thinks about buying a house and continues long after they've completed their transaction. So we consider the content journey and the channels on which it takes place much more holistically, instead of in traditional silos like marketing, product copy, or social media.

Our content team's mission is to make Huspy synonymous with clear, helpful, caring, and trustworthy information about the home buying process, empowering people to make good decisions for their future. And a big part of this is establishing where this content will live. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting the brand through multiple social media channels, we'd love for you to apply.
The scope is broad, and you'll be expected to alternate between creating strategies and crafting creative content. Being the first and only social media strategist, it will be up to you to identify the unique challenges, requirements, and opportunities and execute on the plans for each. Your leaders and peers understand the importance of quality content, so you'll have full support to create bold solutions that lead the way for our social and community practice.

Team structure & culture
Social Media & Community Strategists at Huspy get to own and influence creative communication strategies to best serve and engage our different audiences. They're part of the Experience domain, report into the Head of Content, and will work closely with CRM, performance marketing, design, product, engineering, growth, and operations.
We work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires all of us to work hard and hustle, but we always make time to hang out, reflect, and celebrate.
Responsibilities
- Create and drive the strategic vision of social and community marketing at Huspy
- Use data and customer research to identify insights and build compelling social strategies and multi-channel communication plans
- Establish, lead, and grow social and community programs at Huspy
- Find ways to innovate and activate our community, advising on the appropriate platforms and technology to build a thriving community that works for our different audience types
- Establish lean structures, agile processes, and industry best practices for community management while innovating and experimenting to scale community operations
- Collaborate closely with growth, performance, and analytics teams to ensure community efforts are measurable and deliver on key KPIs
- Work effectively with other designers, content strategists, product managers, researchers, performance marketing, and business stakeholders
- Manage, create and publish original, high quality content on social platforms
- Build out a calendar of tailored content (posts, live experiences, AMAs, meetups, podcasts, press releases, videos, etc.), and administer all company social media accounts to ensure up-to-date content
- Prioritize projects for impact in a high-growth, high-speed environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in one, a few, or all of the following: community management, social media strategy, content strategy, copywriting, content marketing, community marketing, creating community initiatives
- Experience in threading a consistent message through multiple touch points
- Fluent in English with excellent ability to write anything from a formal email to reacting with the appropriate emoji or gif
- Curiosity to look for better ways of doing things, learn something new, and experiment with unconventional ideas
- Demonstrated ability to both ideate and execute upon high impact social media strategies that resonate with a specific target audience and builds community
- Be passionate about transforming complex banking,real estate, finance, and transactional jargon into simple, accessible, engaging content that people can rally behind
- Extremely organized, responsive, responsible, and accountable. You're the go-to person for your domain, you're enthusiastic about helping and learning, and you always find a way to make things happen.
- Relaxed and open conversations to discuss Huspy's needs, listen to what you're looking for, and discover what you can bring to the company
- After an initial chat, there will be 4 interviews during which you'll meet with direct and indirect peers, your hiring manager, and the CXO. You're welcome to request discussions with more people.
- The interviews will assess your technical skills, communication, collaboration, strategic vision and work values
- To ensure you feel confident and prepared, we'll share the details for each interview upfront, including the structure and possible questions you can expect
- We'll disclose the salary range for this role in the first interview (you don't even have to ask!)
- We will not ask you to complete an elaborate take-home assignment
