Primary objective
To carry out corrosion risk and material selection studies for multiple projects.
Specific Accountabilities
- Selection, review of materials for Offshore Oil and Gas facilities.
- Assesment of Service life Corrosion (SLC), Life Cycle Cost analysis (LCC) for offshore / Oil and Gas projects.
- Design and review of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and Corrosion Monitoring (CM) facilities for Offshore / Oil and Gas projects.
- Corrosion Management/Integrity assessment of Offshore / Oil and Gas projects.
- Review of Intelligent Pigging (IP) and engineering assessment of identified pipeline defects.
- Selection and performance evaluation of corrosion inhibitors for oil and gas applications.
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Minimum 15 yrs of relevant experience in materials selection, corrosion management & integrity assessments in major oil and gas projects.
- Experience in use of International Corrosion Modelling software packages.
- Good knowledge and experience with the international codes and standards.
Project Experience Requirement
- Greenfield Project + Brownfield modifications
- Offshore Well Head platform Project experience
- Offshore sour gas projects (Big added advantage)
- At least handled or worked in projects above 500 Millions USD ((Big added advantage)
- Onshore Project experience as well.
- PMC experience / Handling PMC project and exposure.
