About the opportunity: 

We are excited to be looking for a Regional Director to join our high performing Partnerships team to look after our EMEA region!  

In support of our global partnerships strategy and development of Kognitiv’s Marketplace content, the Regional Partnerships Director will be a key leader in our team with responsibility for Partnerships within the assigned region and/or industries. Leading the acquisition and ongoing engagement with partners, you will have responsibility for delivering material business impact by meeting and exceeding strategic objectives and budget targets.  

 

The role will directly impact business success by enhancing the appeal of Kognitiv’s Marketplaces to prospective clients and providing expert practitioner counsel and content availability to live clients. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of partner engagement and investment, ensuring partner activity comes to life effectively, accurately and on-time and seek opportunities for continuous improvements and innovation. 

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

A key focus of this role is to lead, manage and coordinate a high performing, highly engaged team. The Regional Director will play a leading role on assigned strategic projects within the region and globally. Be responsible for all key people processes, including performance management, staff engagement and retention. You will set the standard for great internal collaboration, highly effective interaction with offshore service teams, strong governance and effective financial management and reporting. 

 

  • Coordinate partner/vendor acquisition activity and actively lead, negotiate and close scale partner acquisition deals 

  • Lead the creation of sound business cases for new partner/revenue opportunities 

  • Provide risk management, functional analytical expertise and SME business case analysis in the evaluation of new opportunities

  • Support business and client development efforts acting as a service Subject Matter Expert, including identifying opportunities for managed services sales and for implementing innovative ways of using technology

  • Hold responsibility for the delivery of the service to clients

  • Play a leading role on strategic projects as agreed with the global functional lead, ensuring global requirements and best practices are considered to always deliver scalable and successful outcomes

  • Constantly evaluate market trends and competitive landscape analysis to support future functional development, partner targeting, enhance the competitiveness of the functional partner proposition and ensure optimisation of current trading relationships

 

Who are you? 

You are a relationship connector, you drive sales and increased awareness in your region. You are naturally curious and a networker. You understand the importance of leveraging relationships and building mutually beneficial partnerships

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a top-performing organization, with a minimum 3 years in a functional or departmental Partnerships leadership position  

  • Minimum of 3 years UAE Partnerships experience

  • Strong commercial skills, with a demonstrable track record of operating with senior-level executives to negotiate complex deals and deliver exceptional volume and value. 

  • Loyalty experience and programme knowledge is highly preferable. 

  • Extensive experience in influencing internally to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
