The responsibilities of the Logistics Associate in the Logistics Department may vary based on job assignment distribution within the department. The associate may be assigned duties such as order picking and or/packing, order processing and other logistics support roles within the Logistics Department.

What You Will Do:
- Create shipping documents
- Build tracking sheet for imported/exported shipments
- Communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders and clearance brokers
- Communicate with WH and plant to ensure correct picking & loading
- Understand of IMDG, IATA and ADR laws for DG handling and shipping
- Manage courier services shipments
- Coordinate with planning & manufacturing to get readiness date
- Verify shipping documents according to the customer requirements
- Verify shipping invoices
- Act as expeditor for imported shipment
- Use Fasah & Senai to apply for import permit
- Apply for export permit thru MOE portal
- Participate in freight forwarders selection
- Lead FCPA approval process
- Follow all logistics procedures and policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Supply Chain or relevant.
- 2 years in shipping and import/export field
- Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
- Must be able to follow both written and verbal directions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a import/export environment performing shipping and/or receiving responsibilities
- Be able to properly use SAP
- A medium level of analytical ability is required
