What we are looking for

As a Digital Media Strategist & Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of Tribe X’s client’s media planning and buying activities across multiple markets. The ultimate goal of your role is building awareness for the clients' brands, driving new user acquisition as well as ensuring retention using the most effective platforms/channels by developing in-depth and well-formulated media strategies, and budget-optimized media plans based on communicated client objectives.


Your role requires an omnichannel strategic approach with a mix of innovative, creative, and tech-savvy approaches targeting niche markets for luxury leisure clients, travel, real estate, eCommerce, and Mobile Apps.


You will need to develop and oversee the implementation of robust digital media strategies, media plans while leading and overseeing the execution by the media buying team.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide expert counsel and guidance to clients on digital media advertising strategies for luxury leisure, E-commerce, and Mobile App brands
  • Provide strategic research including market insights and/or media landscape insights, market and channel mix recommendations for current and new markets
  • Always ensure an innovative edge by testing and implementing the newest ad-tech
  • Drive best practice media planning and buying guidelines, KPIs, and standardized reporting
  • Develop and present digital media strategies that maximize ROI on the media investments for Tribe X’s clients
  • Ensure the working media budget is efficiently and effectively optimized while ensuring timely delivery of campaigns against budget
  • Foster relationships with ad tech partners and media owners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote organizational collaboration between all Tribe X’s business functions to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Financial management of media bookings and performance on behalf of Tribe X's clients. Ownership to deliver on booking vs. targets/forecast for the clients’ media plans.
  • Working with our internal creative team to ensure Tribe X is first to market with new creative ad formats/trends, while also ensuring ongoing creative optimization, keeping in mind market-specific insights and best practices
  • Stay aware of competitor activity/offerings


Qualification and experience

  • Strong knowledge of and practical experience in Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin Ads Manager (Snapchat and TikTok is a plus)
  • Experience buying and managing cross-platform digital advertising programs, utilizing various assets including display, native, video, and mobile (Connected TV, Audio, and DOOH is a plus)
  • A functional understanding of using and implementing one of the leading digital marketing solutions/tools - Google Marketing Platform including Campaign Manager, DV360, Google Analytics
  • Significant experience with trends, issues, and solutions in the area of Digital Marketing, Digital Advertising, Programmatic, DMP, DSP
  • Minimum of four years of digital marketing experience in a media planning and strategy role within, digital media, digital technology, client service or a similar environment
  • Have an affinity for luxury, travel, and real estate brands and is interested in working in an international environment with clients in Europe, North America, and the Middle East
  • Expert understanding of the digital agency, performance marketing landscape, its latest challenges, and opportunities
  • Strong understanding of all digital marketing channels, ad technologies, cross-media solutions and are passionate about (ad) technology and how technology can shape the online advertising industry and ecosystem for the benefit of our customers
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify paid media trends quickly, alongside a deep understanding of attribution modeling to better optimize the full user marketing funnel 
  • Experience in both media planning and buying along with a strong digital foundation is a requirement, with an ability to stay ahead of the ever-evolving media landscape
