Talent Acquisition Manager, MEA, Emerson, Dubai, UAE

 Emerson's Middle East and Africa organisation are currently seeking to appoint an ambitious and self-driven Talent Acquisition Manager into its Human Resources Shared Service centre at its Headquarters located in Dubai, UAE.

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, MEA:

You will lead the centralised TA function to support all Emerson business unitsregions and functional groups with their recruitment needs across the world area.  You will oversee the day-to-day operational recruitment activity by leading a dedicated and passionate team of Talent Recruiters.  You will be responsible for implementing strategies that enable the attractionsourcingscreeningselectionrecruiting, and onboarding of a diverse mix of talented candidates for all positions to support the continuation of our business growth in the region.  You will also serve as the talent acquisition advisor and business partner for stakeholders to identify critical talent gaps and establish healthy talent pipelines.

What will be my primary responsibilities in this role:

  • To develop and implement effective strategies and talent mindset philosophies that enable your team and stakeholders to attract and secure diverse top talent
  • To lead, mentor, and coach recruiters on effective sourcing strategies, talent delivery, partner influencing, and modern talent acquisition methodologies
  • To own the implementation of new processes and initiatives and drive adoption through effective change management
  • To use Oracle Recruiting (Part of HCM), our applicant tracking system (ATS), to manage the end-to-end- recruitment process and to track all recruitment activity
  • To partner with and advise hiring managers and HR leaders regarding recruitment activities, external talent trends, internal employee feedback, and process improvement needs to optimise talent acquisition efforts
  • To provide data, analysis, and recommendations for preserving and improving Emerson's competitive advantage regarding Emerson's employability attractiveness in the region.
  • To be a key custodian who advances diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for talent attraction through talent sourcing and pipelining and during hiring manager and leadership consultations
  • To engage actively in social media, talent communities, and industry outreach to promote and strengthen Emerson's employer brand
  • To build a healthy and diverse pipeline of top talent through the use of LinkedIn, job boards, social networking sites, and industry networks
  • To oversee and drive the MEA Internship & Graduate Programs through a partnership with local academic and government institutions.

You will be an outstanding talent spotter who can attract, assess and select exceptional diverse talent.  You can identify the right talent to meet business stakeholders needs that close talent gaps with the right mix of internal and external candidates.  You will instil trust and can be counted on to deliver results, even when there is a high degree of pressure and ambiguity coupled with a lot of complexity.  You will be a great communicator and an avid listener who can adapt your style of communication and messaging to fit the audience.  You will be a leader who always displays a can-do attitude in good and bad times.

 

What do I need to be considered for this role?

To be considered for this role, you will have a bachelors degree in Human ResourcesBusiness AdministrationPsychology or equivalent.  You will have a minimum of 10 years of exceptional recruitment experience, ideally gained from a combination of external recruitment agencies and in house corporate environments.  (The latter will be more favourable preferred) You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a people leadership role and will be passionate about championing diversity, equality and inclusion.  You will have proven expertise with progressive strategic sourcing initiatives and are an inclusive leader with established experience developing, coaching and mentoring teams and other stakeholders.  You will have demonstrated knowledge of Korn Ferry Interview Architect or similar behavioural competency models that enable standardised and fair candidate assessments to be conducted.
