Role Overview / Summary:
The position is for a senior professional with in-depth knowledge, technical expertise and manages the onsite operations for Collins Aerospace products and professional services, managed airports services and/or maintenance services at Collins stations in Egypt. The role holder manages operations based on ITIL practices, ISO processes and is required to ensure the contractual Service Level Agreements are achieved successfully as per our Collins standards. Leading a small team of technical resources and providing them guidance on operational efficiencies, and best practice services to our customer.
This role will be located with our Collins team in Cairo, Egypt.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage our Collins airport sites and customer relations and partnership with the Egyptian Airports Authorities mainly AVIT, CAC & EAC.
- Manage our Egyptian airports accounts and support further Collins expansions footprints in Egypt.
- Monitor and manage our sub-contractors and/or suppliers onsite for assuring our Collins services delivered with respect to Collins standards and customer expectations.
- Interacts internally and externally with statistics for the operations evaluation and enhancement of airport services
- Utilizes experience and strategic knowledge providing practical implementation techniques to ensure achievement of company goals and objectives across the geography and resource pool in country
- Builds a flexible, scalable, and intelligent service design in order to drive delivery attainment and outstanding customer service experiences resulting in meeting and/or exceeding contracted Service Level Agreements
- Is able to lead customer meetings and recurring feedback informed on the nature of service provided or outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.
- Communicates technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders that may include senior management and meets customers frequently or as required to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.
- Manages onsite airport products, services, logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying when needed and airlines configurations to our operational customers.
Min Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or closely related Aviation field with at least 5 years of working experience preferably in an Operations & Maintenance Airports or Aviation field services organization. Alternately a certification in Management Information Systems would be accepted in the absence of a degree with at least 8 years of relevant working experience.
- Relevant work experience must include people management of skilled professionals with the ability to engage, motivate and lead/ direct / review the work of team members in order to accomplish operational plans and results.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification most preferably service operations certification is a plus.
- Excellent Communication (written & verbal) & Presentation ability in English Language & Arabic
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment locally and globally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to source solutions to technical issues to support the immediate and wider team
- Possesses a broad working knowledge of Special Airport Systems (SAS) /Information & Communication Technology (ICT) systems
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- Technical proficiency with the company products / service relevant to the customer
- A proven track record in managing service delivery and airport authorities’ relationships and customer management skills
Ability to travel frequently within Egypt and occasionally internationally as maybe required
