Job related activities
- The main purpose of the Industrial Engineer is to Work to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, person-hours, machine time, energy and other resources that do not generate value.
- Follow Plant downtime analysis using lean manufacturing tools such as TIP & related cost recovery cases within MFG.
- Develop, status, and analyse Manufacturing Master Schedules in sufficient detail to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner.
Use critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution. - Work to improve efficiencies through waste elimination and process improvements.
- Perform data analysis to establish & improve shop metrics (i.e Analyzing actual performance of productivity and responsiveness and drive for corrective actions to ensure targets are achieved.)
- Provide Technical support and assistance to manufacturing and maintenance team members, production supervisors .
- Regional & Global Benchmark activities
Knowledge and Experience:
- Excellent English & Arabic language both spoken and written
- Excellent Computer skills
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills including effective report writing
- Solid understanding of Lean concepts and their applications (kaizen tools & VSM Methodology, ..etc)
- Experience with analytical tools such as flowcharts, Pareto charts, cause, and effect diagrams, run charts, etc. six sigma certificates is an assist
- Project and resource management experience
Education:
- The ideal candidate should have bachelor’s degree in engineering along with experience working in automotive environment
- Strong Lean and Six sigma knowledge.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
