POSITION SUMMARY
Based at our Technology Center in the Dhahran Techno-Valley Complex, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a new, exciting and challenging opportunity exists for an experienced legal assistant to provide legal and administrative support to the VP Legal. The role will afford the right candidate with excellent hands-on experience and a varied work scope, ranging from working on a variety of commercial and financial agreements and liaising with a variety of internal and external parties.

NATURE AND SCOPE
The legal assistant will be responsible for providing legal and administrative support across the business, with a primary focus on Saudi Arabia.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide core legal support to the VP Legal including:

  • Preparation of internal and external documentation, including typing and amending a variety of legal contracts and agreements.
  • Preparing presentations and reports, ensuring elegance, excellence and conformity with house-style.
  • Creating and managing highly confidential files and records, including utilising a logical and intuitive matter-specific filing system and archiving of original legal documents.
  • Scheduling meetings, arranging travel, processing invoices and expense reports, ordering supplies, handling printers, etc.
  • Assisting with word processing support, such as converting documents, running compares, handling formatting issues.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or legal secretary certificate.
  • Ideally a minimum 4 years’ legal experience in private practice or in a “blue chip” corporate environment, but willing to consider graduates or students in their final year of studies requiring internships/coops experience.
  • Arabic and English legal writing and communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office: word, excel, Power Point.
