The areas of work span, but are not limited to new business development, partner and channel management, team leadership, and collaboration.

Key Qualifications

    The successful candidate should have experience in Retail Trade/Channel Account Management within a FMCG/consumer electronics/IT or Telecom manufacturer for a premium brand. Luxury channel would be a plus and experience of working within a matrix organization very helpful.
    A proven track record of negotiation at different seniority levels within the retail environment.
    Account planning: strategic problem solver, consultant, and seeking excellence around differentiation and market positioning.
    Relationship Building: Experience of developing strong commercial relationships with the different partners both internally and externally.
    Intellectual capability to independently explore new opportunities in the market, and be constantly connected with emerging trends.
    Financial understanding of the different elements that affect a balanced profitable growth.
    Demonstrated ability to overachieve on set objectives while focusing on the bottom line.
    Highly analytical with the ability to convert data into business intelligence while staying passionate about the overall objective.
    Presentation Skills - Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers and managers.
    Proficient in both spoken and written English and Arabic

Description:

The main responsibility of the Retail Key Account Executive is to manage Apple business development with key strategic retailers and improve sell-through achievement ensuring the highest possible revenue targets are achieved. The objective is to drive business growth of the Apple & Beats lines of business in a defined set of key accounts by initiating, coordinating and implementing sales/marketing programs together with key teams in the organization.

Sales: Deliver growth and revenue sell-through targets.

Account Management: handle partners in order to perform against company goals across the whole sales proposition.

Responsible for developing strategic account plan and growth initiatives for the account, and collaborate with the various cross functional teams to implement the plan.

Responsible for building and delivering the right sales forecast, appropriate ranging, and managing product inventories with the partners.

Analyze and report business results and trends on a weekly basis and deliver timely reporting.

Negotiate with partners to build and achieve strong and impactful demand generation plans.

Work with training resources to ensure requested levels of product knowledge are maintained within each partner.

Collaborate closely with sales planning on the right merchandising/ demo units for partners account.

Work with the affordability teams on developing value propositions for the respective partners.

Analyze with finance team business cases and perform accurate ROI/ Post mortem.
 

Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree level or equivalent - MBA preferred
