IT Support Engineer- B Capital Group, Singapore
POSITION SUMMARY:
B Capital Group is looking for an outstanding IT Support Engineer to join our growing global IT team. You will be supporting full cloud-based technologies and end user devices that help with our investment processes.
You should understand Networking, System Administration and Helpdesk Support. Although you are not expected to be an expert in any one of these areas, you will need to manage them at various times and hold your own on a technical level.
There is a high degree of ownership; you should have excellent business and communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as a global IT operations team providing world class support to the company
Handle global employee onboarding and offboarding
Provide day-to-day IT operational support to employees
Provides effective and timely resolution for users’ problems and queries
System and account management of Software-as-a-Service applications used by the company
IT asset management including procurement and inventory management
User guides and policy creation and documentation
Keep abreast of technology evolution and recommend upgrades or improvements
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Graduated with Bachelor degree in Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant degree
At least 3 years of relevant experiences in cloud networking, System Administration and Helpdesk Support
IT certification is advantageous
Experience with Office 365, Network and Server equipment is preferred
Experience in supporting Windows or MacOS systems
Experience in IT documentation and inventory management
Experience in IT procurement and vendor management
Able to work independently, resourceful in exploring and understanding the technologies used by the company
Able to troubleshoot technical issues remotely
Able to work with users of variable technical prowess
Experience in white glove or VIP support
Experience with PowerShell scripting and usage
Ability to occasionally work outside normal office hours to accommodate United States time zones, including responding to timely urgent requests as needed
Strong customer-oriented attitude and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
