Description
 

     Implement and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters
    Provision infrastructure on which to deploy Kubernetes clusters, in a hybrid environment, both on premise and public cloud, with regards to network/storage/server components and their configuration
    Plan and implement storage and networking strategies to support Kubernetes clusters and deployments
    Automate infrastructure provisioning and create well-structured, efficient deployment, monitoring, and management scripts
    Continuously improve the infrastructure for better scalability, security, and fault tolerance
    Construct effective solutions to monitor system health and to handle outages, using Grafana, Prometheus and similar cloud native tools, according to standard applicable to agency
    Support delivery of solutions based on microservices and containerization architecture patterns and technologies, according to Europol’s deployment standards
    Implement security baseline for cloud native solutions in a hybrid setup
    Perform technical analysis, investigation, troubleshooting and resolution of incidents or problems affecting the cloud native infrastructure
    Create technical design of cloud native infrastructure in accordance with architecture guidelines and standards, translating high-level solution architectures into concrete designs, procedures and specifications
    Support and/or drive design, development, tests, documentation, release control, maintenance and technical support tasks of infrastructure software components and services matching the specifications
    Perform a proof of concept and/or prototyping of infrastructure solutions as and if required
    Technical responsibility for infrastructure development projects

 
Qualifications
 

    Education : Bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education after secondary education
    Experience: More than 6 years of experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms administration

 

Mandatory

    A minimum of 1 year of experience in Kubernetes administration
    A minimum of 3 years of experience in design and implementation of solutions based on cloud native infrastructure
    Knowledge of Kubernetes administration (AKS, Rancher) on premises and on Azure/AWS
    Knowledge of virtualization and containerization tools
    Knowledge of infrastructure and platform automation tools (like Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
    Knowledge of scripting using bash, PowerShell, Python

Desirable

    A minimum of 2 years of experience in design and implementation of solutions based on ELK stack, ActiveMQ, MS SQL Server
    Knowledge of cloud native monitoring tooling
    Knowledge of DevOps lifecycle and tools
    Certification: Kubernetes Administration, Azure/AWS Cloud Platform

​​​​​​​Working knowledge of English on B2 or higher level is mandatory
