 Assistant General Counsel (Commercial)- Emirates Group, Dubai, UAE


Job Purpose
We are looking for two mid-level (3-5 PQE or equivalent) commercial lawyers to join the Emirates Group legal team. These roles will be supporting our award winning Emirates Sky Cargo and dnata Travel divisions.
One role will support our senior legal advisor with overall responsibility for the legal affairs relating to Emirates’ global operations, our highly successful SkyCargo division and global regulatory affairs for the airline. The other role will support our senior legal advisor with overall responsibility for the legal affairs of dnata Travel, a leading global provider of travel services. In both roles you will have the opportunity to work on high quality, complex cross-border commercial transactions and regulatory matters with a high degree of autonomy.
You will become an integral part of the global legal team supporting the world’s largest international airline and one of the world’s most dynamic aviation groups. If you have excellent academic credentials, strong English language skills for communication and drafting and experience with a leading regional or international law firm or in-house department of a major international corporation we are interested to hear from you. Previous experience working for an airline or in the travel industry is an advantage, but not essential.
Qualifications & Experience
Legal.Aviation Law : 3+ Years

 Post Graduate Diploma (12+4 or equivalent) :

 Experience in an area of law relevant to the position.
Knowledge/skills:
- Excellent analytical ability and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent drafting skills in English documentation.
- Service-oriented, commercially aware and capable of working on a diverse range of client matters whilst maintaining a continuing grasp of the Group's long term commercial goals and the importance of achieving the same.
