Senior Sales Executive - Hotel Concierge- Emirates Group, Dubai, UAE
Job Purpose
Establish strong B2B relationships with key contacts in strategic hotels by creating infallible awareness of the new In Destination brand, be responsible for sales, account management and implementation for concierge partners in Dubai & Abu Dhabi and grow the current hotel concierge network agreements in line with the budgeted plans of the department both in terms of sales and Priohub platform usage.
Plan
- Support the launch and roll out of the new In Destination brand, to create a strong brand presence in Dubai.
- Research, monitor and analyse trends within the Concierge and Hotel sales space. Understand the competition and keep up to date with new hotel openings.
- Develop a thorough understanding of required systems, including booking portal and reporting software and proficient in the knowledge of products offered to clients.
- Work directly with the technical teams in defining customer requirements and configuration of the priohub platform.
Deploy
- Agree and follow up with the team the schedule for the week ahead to ensure opportunities for hotel visits are maximised.
- Supporting the sales team in Dubai as well as customer-facing concierge staff on the ground.
Lead
- Directly responsible for the B2B sales performance of the concierge team. Develop, plan and execute effective sales strategies to ensure all business opportunities are met.
- Track weekly / monthly sales reports to identify market trends and revenue opportunities and ensure due diligence and required documents are completed when opening every new account.
- Provide progress and performance against plans / budget updates along with recommendations for improving sales performance in order to meet the annual budget and strategic priorities of the organisation.
- Ensure proper implementation of company incentive policies, company finance procedures and other relevant industry regulations.
- Conduct weekly team meetings and regular 121 sessions with the Concierge team ? update MyBC annual and interim reviews in a timely manner.
- Drive the sales team to achieve monthly KPIs by providing support, feedback, training, guidance and development plans where necessary.
Execute
- Manage existing contracts and build a strong pipeline of new customers and maintain partnerships with hotels and other strategic B2B partners.
- Regularly schedule meetings with both contracted and non-contracted hotels to target key decision makers. Ensure contract negotiation, implementation, training & adoption of the portal is completed.
- Ensure all Hotel Concierge account administration is in order and up to date, including completing internal forms, ensuring contract is signed by both parties and contracts are saved.
- Communicate with internal and external finance teams to ensure hotel invoices are issued and paid as per the terms of the contract.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams in order to enhance our product offering and meet customer requirements.
- Ensure all leads from the call centre are followed up on by the concierge sales team.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications: A Level or Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
Experience: Hospitality / Sales 5 + years
Knowledge/Skills:
- A proven track record, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work with a multinational team and able to influence and negotiate successful and sustainable outcomes.
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously within pre-set guidelines. Good attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to adapt constantly changing markets and to give clear and objective direction where required.
- Good commercial acumen and the ability to apply a logical and structured approach to problem solving and decision making.
- Results oriented with a proven track record of success.
- Proficient across Microsoft product suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Valid UAE driving licence is essential.
