Recruitment Manager- Six Senses Zighy Bay, Oman
Scope of Work :
Fully understand and embrace Six Senses company vision and values and its application in all tasks associated with the host’s duty.
Adhere to all Six Senses brand standards ensuring successful communication across all levels of the operation.
Maintain effective relationships with department and division heads. Consistently follow up on all recruitment matters with the relevant division or department heads to ensure all vacancies are filled in a timely manner.
Review all applications received on a daily basis. Respond to all that are not suitable within 3 days of receipt.
Interview all suitable candidates in a timely manner, no later than 1 week after receipt.
Where a position is vacant forward pre-screened applications and interview notes to the relevant department or division head, as appropriate, for further interview.
Maintain a register of active applications, including a tracking system to ensure all active applications are managed and followed through in a timely manner.
All applications must be managed in a reasonable time frame. An acceptable time frame is 2 weeks from receipt to final interview.
Once final approval for hire has been received from the General Manager, prepare the package proposal, job description and employment contract and email to the applicant along with the list of relevant documentation required to prepare for their hire, including work permit information for expatriate hosts.
On receipt of the signed contract, for expatriate hosts, liaise with the new host to complete the work permit documentation and submit to the Government Relations Officer for processing.
Arrange through the resort’s travel agent for the issuing of the new host’s airline ticket.
Arrange for overnight accommodation and all other transport arrangements for hosts arriving in Muscat.
Review all internal applications received and liaise with the host’s department head and receiving department head to interview and approve applications.
Advise all hosts of the status of their application for transfer or promotion - successful or unsuccessful, and file the internal transfer application on the host’s personal file.
Update the vacancy list as Host Requisition Forms are received ensuring the list is current at all times.
Email the vacancy list to Home Office recruitment on a weekly basis to ensure the Six Senses Careers website is updated.
Maintain a log of all current vacancies, including a list of all applicants under consideration and the status of their applications.
Prepare advertisements for approved publications as required.
Research potential websites and other publications where positions may be advertised and make recommendations to the Director of Human Resources and Training, including the relevant costs.
Complete any other duty assigned by your manager.
Arrive on time in full uniform in accordance with the company grooming guideline.
Qualification :
Position Requirements:
Human Resources qualification or equivalent years of experience in a human resources office.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Thorough understanding of the job requirements of hotel/resort positions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.
