 Head of Technical Services - ZF, Dubai, UAE


We are looking for a new colleague in the Business Unit Marine and Special Driveline Technology at our location in Dubai, UAE.


Your tasks:

• Professionally manage Automotive and Marine Technical Centre in UAE. Lead the automotive technical & product support team for automotive in UAE and in Qatar in providing technical support
  of direct & indirect customers and training to Aftermarket customers;
• Lead the marine technical team consisting of service engineers in UAE and India, directing activities including commissioning, diagnostics, servicing, overhaul, and repair of ZF marine
  components & applications such as thrusters, transmissions, and controls;
• Roll out the Service Readiness strategy for Div. B in line with the overall EEMEA strategy in Middle East for Automotive customers & for Marine in line with strategy of BU IB in Middle East &
  South Asia for Marine customers;
• Define and provide technical services for all ZF Aftermarket products including warranty claim handling, repairs, corrective & preventive maintenance, and technical consulting while ensuring
  high-quality standards & processes;
• Manage all Service Partners and Service Points technically in alignment with commercial managed by sales team in ME for Automotive and in ME & Asia for Marine.

 

Your profile:

• Mechanical / Automotive /Marine Engineer with 6-8 years of experience with a Multi-National company & 3-4 years as a Technical Manager;
• Experience with an understanding of marine engineering, applications, and service support;
• Experience in the field of Driveline Technology including Transmissions, Axles and Differentials;
• Experience in professionally managing a workshop (Technicians, Service Engineers and Product Support Engineers, parts, tools and machines);
• Must have leadership qualities. Organized, Proactive and self-motivated personality with clear hands on mentality.
