Regional Head of Lead Logistics- Maersk, UAE
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute a Regional plan for Lead Logistics in line with Global strategy
-Develop a clear Regional plan for how to drive LL forward across customer segments, verticals, geographies and products.
-Drive the regional LL go to market strategy including customization or localization, sales enablement, marketing and customer experience.
Drive Lead Logistics growth
-Collaborate closely with the global LL community and Sales & Marketing teams to ensure effective targeting and penetration.
-Monitor the LL sales pipeline and provide necessary Product Management, SME, Solution Engineering and Pricing support to relevant
opportunities to achieve required profitable growth.
-Personally and actively support strategic pursuits to maximize win rate, including attending key client meetings.
-Lead local product development and localization of global products to meet specific prioritized customer needs.
-Support the development of sales capabilities in the region by providing product training, value selling coaching etc.
Responsible for Regional Lead Logistics P&L
-Drive ambitiously realistic targets and follow through with initiatives and performance management to achieve them.
Build a World Class Regional Lead Logistics Product team
-Attract, develop and retain a diverse team of Product Managers, Solution Engineers and Subject Matter Experts with the optimal mix of
knowledge, experience and personalities and build a high performing team.
Be an active participant within the Global Lead Logistics Community
-Capture and share knowledge / best practices throughout the organization to support short and long term success
-Speak up and share both supportive and critical views in a way that fosters a dynamic and engaging pursuit of continuous improvement
We are looking for
-A proven track record of significant and extensive commercial experience at a global organisation with demonstrated results and P&L responsibility at senior levels of leadership.
-Strategic acumen
-Extensive Supply Chain and logistics network knowledge
-Digital / IT understanding
-Expertise within key verticals
-Well developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
-Strong understanding of commercial solution sales process.
-Customer centric orientated mindset
-Experience in P+L Management
