 HSE SUPERVISOR- Eni Oman B.V in Muscat, Oman

At Eni, we are looking for an HSE Supervisor within Eni Oman B.V in Muscat, Oman. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Safety and Environment Management Systems in support of the company’s activities.

 

As a member of Eni Oman B.V you will be responsible for:

    Supervising operating activities to ensure that all the prescribed HSE procedures and are fully adopted, both by Company staff and contractors;
    Ensuring strict compliance with the company safety and environmental requirements, also by carrying out HSE inspections and control of safety equipment functionality;
    Reviewing the contractor HSE performance by inspection and by acquiring data in order to provide means to improve overall HSE standards;
    Ensuring the adequate training of personnel involved in operation;
    Monitoring relevant HSE KPIS;
    Investigating all HSE incidents, accidents, near miss events and issue prompt reports.
    Identifying risk factors, risk assessment and safety measures to be implemented in the operating environment;
    Coordinating the HSE aspects of operating activities.
    Ensuring emergency preparedness and familiarity with the emergency response plan, including emergency drills.

 

HSE Responsibilities

Ensure that Eni Oman HSE policies appropriately reflect corporate and applicable statutory requirements for occupational health, safety and environmental issues through training and induction. Ensure that all activities under your responsibility are carried out in full compliance and best HSE practices.

 

Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment through:

        Adherence to Eni Oman HSE Policies and procedures.
        Adherence to HSE guidelines
        Identification of HSE hazards in the work place.
        Reporting of HSE Accident/Incidents/Near Miss.
        Ensuring adherence for self and all reports to HSE guidelines and policies and procedures
        Ensuring awareness of company emergency response procedure

    Oil & Gas Industry experience
    Experience both in a technical safety role and in a safety management role
    Technical diploma/degree
    HSE training and certifications
    Negotiations skills
    Relationship management
