Elevator Technician- Bahrain
The Technician-3 works in the Service Field Operations. He is responsible for the monthly preventive maintenance of the units under maintenance on his route and for executing repair works & call backs when required.
Position Location: Bahrain; Only Bahraini nationals will be considered
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all safety and compliance rules of the company
• Housekeeping (Machine Room, Shaft, Truss and Pit)
• Receive, use and maintain his Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Receive, use and maintain his tools
• Ensure all Electrical & Mechanical Safeties are in place and functional
• Execute Preventive Maintenance activities as per Checklist (Express / Focus / Routine)
• Inspect and adjust basic or complex electrical and mechanical components
• Attend call-backs and breakdowns
• Execute all Repair activities, including high-risk activities (rope replacements…)
• Rope-tensioning
• Electrical print reading
• Fill and submit checklists or reports pertaining to the activities
• Conduct safety and quality inspections on the equipment as and when required
• Report to Senior/Team Leader/Service Engineer/Service Manager any abnormalities detected
• Report to Support & Control Center as and when stated necessary
Education and Experience:
• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or higher
• 5 years of experience in the elevator business in similar role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Elevator and Escalator Background: Repairs, Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance
• Driver License
• Decision making skills
