Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out the Material receiving inspection (including review of previous preservation records) for mechanical equipment, Piping bulk, fittings, E&I items etc. delivered to construction site.
Checking the materials as per codes and process standard specifications.
Review of IRN, Packing list, MTC’s for the delivered materials
Periodically check the material lay down and warehouse areas for proper storage.
Check periodic preservation records are maintained and.
Ensure that any required testing is performed on equipment while in storage.
Ensure that material/welding consumables are stored and handled correctly, when required material traceability is maintained and correct material used.
Preparing material Missing/damage report.
Minimum Job Requirement
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of International Codes and Standards, specifically ASME and API Codes/practices, and specifications associated with all types of static/rotating equipment and piping.
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience
Should have experience in oil & gas/petrochemical industry
Should have previously worked with major EPC contractor or their subcontractors
