Sales Executive - Zabeel House by Jumeirah the Greens, Dubai
About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join Zabeel House by Jumeirah the Greens. The main purpose of the role is to source and develop new business for the hotel in the assigned segment(s) guided by an experienced Sales team and the Director of Sales. The key responsibility is to implement sales activities to maximize sales, to effectively manage and network existing accounts and to identify and develop new business opportunities.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity
Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage to client contacts.
Establish client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside selling to secure business for the hotel to ensure that room night sales and revenue goals are met or exceeded.
Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
Accurately produce and review all sales contracts, rate agreements and banquet/catering event orders.
Monitor and handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
Interact with potential contacts such as Guests to ensure their total satisfaction as well as airlines, wholesalers, corporate/leisure accounts, travel agencies, ad agencies, etc. - to ensure repeat business, follow up on events, and generate new business.
Produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.
Identify business opportunities by spotting prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analysing sales options.
Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position in Dubai
Hospitality sales experience within 4* hotel industry in UAE
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Knowledge of sales and marketing modules
UAE Driving License
Friendly, pleasant and easy to be around, draw energy from being with others (essential)
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
Possess professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive approach in dealing with clients and industry; task focused, outcome orientated
Understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Excellent follow-up and documentation skills
Ability to calmly and effectively execute last minute requests
