Media and Public Relations Manager- Deloitte, Dubai
During your tenure as an PR Manager, you will report to and work closely with the firm’s Brand & Communications leader to meet business objectives, demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
Work with business leaders to understand the business strategy and objectives and incorporate these into PR planning and activity.
Build strong relationships with senior journalists in the Middle East, with emphasis on GCC countries.
Develop PR strategy and plans coordinated with marketing plans and aligned to the business overall objectives.
Define target audiences for PR activity and media through which clients will be reached.
Develop and maintain editorial calendar and proactively seek opportunities to place stories, interviews, comments, etc.
Proactively understand and identify industry issues which are appropriate for press comment.
Work closely with the marketing team to advise on how PR opportunities can be developed, and opportunities maximized around wider marketing projects.
Identify appropriate spokespeople and ensure they have necessary media training – while building recognition of those spokespeople as expert commentators on relevant issues.
Run competitive analysis of other key players in the market.
Ensure proper media monitoring and reporting.
Create KPIs and ensure tools and systems are in place for consistent measurement, evaluation and proof of value driven by PR.

Qualifications:
Graduate degree in Business with emphasis in Public Relations or equivalent from a reputable University.
A minimum of eight years’ PR experience, either from an in-house or agency background.
Recent experience in a similar role with regional responsibilities out of a GCC location is essential. Preferably out of the UAE.
Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
Very strong communication, influencing and writing skills.
Advanced analytical skills with proven abilities to take large volumes of data and then analyze trends and produce a result.
Excellent organizational and management skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with high-level executives and influence in a highly matrixed, global environment.
Team player with ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
Flexible, creative thinker, and fast learner.
Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Management).
Passionate and results driven.
Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; attention to detail is a must.
A strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually, and independently. A confident decision maker.
Adapts to rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple projects
