Chief Information Officer- UAE
Our client is one of the largest banking groups in the Middle East in terms of assets and a market leader across core business lines with more than 200+ branches worldwide. They are looking to hire a Chief Information Officer with 20+ years' experience in IT organization.
The successful candidate will:
- Sets IT priorities, budget, and direction- Drives efficient delivery of IT projects and base operations- Prioritize business problems across entire enterprise for which IT can address by shaping definition of project needs and high-level solution approaches; reviews technology portfolio for alignment with business needs; eliminates waste and fills gaps;- Approves charters and finances of technology projects- Periodically reviews major projects / programs for appropriate delivery pace- Aligns with Executive business team on current and future corporate strategy
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- B.S. with coursework in IT- Advanced degree a strong positive- 20+ years in IT organization- Must have experience in a senior functional leadership position- Program management experience delivering multiple $20m+ projects- Experience in managing 20 projects at the same time- Experience in big transformation project within a bank- Strong ability to shape business and technology needs- Ability to create broad vision for IT function and execute on vision
