Business Analyst (BI Developer)- KPMG, Dubai
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business process leads to gather the high-level business requirements, documenting the findings and decisions within acceptable standards and templates
Communicate requirements to technical teams and manage updates to the requirements; Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Responsible for transforming data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals
Responsible for providing analytics and insights business partners with fact-based decision-making results, enabling them to quickly make changes, as appropriate, that may affect diverse areas
Recognize patterns, trends, themes, and connections in information to develop innovative ideas and solutions
Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set
Understanding of the data scientist requirements and develop, publish, and schedule visuals accordingly
Help ensure traceability from business requirements through user acceptance testing as well as interface with the testing team and help prepare for testing
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in a professional services environment
Familiarity with Data Warehouse, Big Data and Analytics is a must.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
Ability to gather business requirements, user acceptance testing, perform business process analysis
Capability to identify ambiguity and propose necessary specificity to eliminate ambiguity and ensure alignment with Business Process Lead's intent
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, Project, Visio SharePoint, and Power Point
