Purpose of the Job:
Manage and coordinate IT team in the station, and provide final level of support for the local requirement
Job Responsibilities :
Ensure business continuity by maintaining IT systems availability.
Understanding customer’s business needs.
Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that IT facilities meet these needs.
Manage relationships with corporate clients providing all necessary consultancy for up-to-date technologies and methods to assure their online business sustainability and growth.
Respond/act on upper-management direction.
Identify and provide standards for gathering information for use in trend analysis and report information to company management.
Keep IT users (business units) well informed about any IT-related changes and their impacts.
Reporting any information that might impact company image and brand
Manage relationships with local IT suppliers in coordination with the local procurement team.
Help team members and colleges understanding the system workflow.
Setting objectives and KPI’s for direct reports and conduct an annual performance review
Self-development and skill improvement
Offering users appropriate support and advice.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise team members and contractors
Keep the IT team well informed of changes within the organization.
Hire, train, coach, and develop the direct reports.
Mentoring and training new IT support staff.
Determine access requirements to information within the team to guarantee privacy and confidentiality based on sensitivity, classification, legal requirements, and company policies, and pass to IT for implementation.
Develop and maintain the team’s response and recovery plan during a disruptive incident, using the tools and templates provided by the local business continuity coordinator working within the BIE team.
Ensure having a succession plan in place
Identify and propose training for direct reports
Ensure business continuity by maintaining IT systems availability.
Develop new IT tools.
Support Process Automation.
Support continuous improvement for IT solutions.
Manage local data center.
Lead and/or Manage local IT projects within the station.
Researches possible solutions for various local IT issues which may arise.
Handling special projects and process automation.
Researching and installing new systems.
Guaranteeing the smooth running of all systems and active integrations
Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
Implement and manage the required technology architecture for software development (Enterprise and Business).
Provide quality checks for finalized automation initiatives.
Initiate and implement improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
Manage all IT-related projects and ensure they're following up on and implemented in a timely manner.
Effectively communicate relevant IT-related information to superiors.
Provide users with appropriate support and advice.
Assist in the planning and implementation of changes in the network infrastructure
Ensure the smooth running of all IT systems
Work with business units to help implement new systems.
Work with business units in drafting requirements and the means of implementing any related changes
Continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of systems used.
Oversee all help desk activities.
Build and maintain vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products
Manage the purchasing of key software, hardware, and other IT supplies
Ensure that company assets are maintained responsibly.
Act as the final level of escalation for problem resolution.
Adhere to company HSSE, compliance, and sustainability corporate policies
Support senior manager’s financial decision by providing technical facilitation.
Reduce running expenses for the station.
Coordinate with station accounting and management for setting proper IT budgets in alignment with setting corporate IT budget guidelines for that year.
Maintain IT asset inventories
Plan the IT budget with the concerned stakeholders
Control operational budget and expenditures.
Obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure reducing cost
Managing, negotiating and monitoring communication costs.
Purchase Order approvals and need assessment.
Job Requirements (Experience and education)
Degree in IT or a field with technical focus
Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in a senior IT Infrastructure function
MCSE, CCNA, PMP certifications would be an advantage
Excellent command in English language
Hands-on experience running mission-critical IT operations.
Able to critically think to solve complex problems with no established precedence while balancing risk, speed, accuracy, and embracing pace over perfection.
Exhibit excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
Strong communication skills and presence with the ability to speak with impact, influence outcomes; simplify complex topics into actionable recommendations for decision-making.
Ability to respond rapidly to changing technology and apply leading-edge technology to business needs.
Ability to plan and direct technology efforts to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and information management across all lines of business and technology platforms.
Strong client service orientation and awareness to collaborate across the organization to drive key critical decisions and resolve complex problems.
