Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT/Computer Science / Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or Similar) with minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Projects Management of which 05 years in a Supervisory level.

• Extensive experience in running large scale digital transformation programs in mid to big size enterprises.

• Master degree in the related field will be advantage.

Skills/Knowledge

 Ability to design, maintain and operate teams

 Project Management skills with functional understanding of project management principles and their application.

 Strong leadership and management abilities and the ability to lead cross functional project teams in implementing projects of complex nature.

 Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities and to redirect teams toward new objectives.

 Troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.

 Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities.

 Proficiency in MS office 

 Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

 In-Depth knowledge in system design using Structured and Object Oriented methodology and expert knowledge of SDLC.

 Extensive knowledge of current technology in the IT industry.

 Extensive Documentation and Reporting capability.

 Professional communication, presentation skills with good command of written English.

 Good Interpersonal relations with pleasing personality.

 Airline IT systems and requirements experience and knowledge is an added value.

Job Description

1. Should be able to demonstrate detailed experience of creating digital roadmaps and strategies for different business units within the company.

2. An ability to work with business units in a consultative way; helping them translate their business objectives into digital strategies.

3. Managing the Airline Solutions related portfolios within the company.

4. Extensive experience in working with multi-skilled teams (UX Designers, Software Engineers and QA Engineers) on projects that touch a range of technical platforms.

5. Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, software builds and change delivery

6. Strong ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders

7. An entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen

8. Proven ability to build strong relationship across stakeholder groups with the ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the company.

9. Deep understanding of the Digital industry, and the issues and opportunities its players face, in area such as technology, data and business change.

10. Have previously worked with large project teams and delivered successful projects.

11. Identify and design all necessary procedures and documentation to support recommended modifications.

12. Assist the line manager on all decisions related to Airline Solutions area.

13. Contribute to systems architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement for the related projects.

14. Develop and maintain contacts with software suppliers to ensure that any proposed modifications are produced in accordance with specification.

15. Ensure that any development or enhancements are based on best practices in the industry.

16. Must co-ordinate with line managers in resolving issues and disputes.

17. Must make sure that regular updates on progress are conveyed to line managers.

18. Ensure that high quality deliverables and work products are provided and meet commitments for the schedule on satisfying the business user needs.

19. Must build a strong sense of commitment among all team members to meet the user satisfaction levels.

20. Must ensure compliance to Risk Management and Audit standards.

21. Must contribute ideas to help the team to become more effective and seek ideas from other team members.

22. Participate in IT strategic planning and lead for project planning and annual budget planning both for CAPEX and OPEX for own section requirements to cater for organisation business needs.

23. Establish and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with vendors and service suppliers
