Frontend Web Developer- Smyth and Bradshaw, Dubai

Job Responsibilities

Developing web and backend applications using a wide range of modern technologies

Working with solution designers and technical architects to clarify and help design solutions

Providing estimations and reviewing processes in sprint planning sessions

Fixing defects and solving production issues

Providing and receiving code reviews

Building automated unit tests

Skills Required

The ability to clearly communicate abstract concepts to other team members both verbal and written (Essential)

Azure PaaS (App Service, Storage, Azure AD, Functions, API Management, CosmosDB) (Essential)

NET Framework / .Net Core (Essential)

React and other modern JavaScript frameworks (Essential)

Azure DevOps (Essential)

Working with an RDB such as SQL Server (Desirable)

NUnit (Desirable)

Experience

4+ years building commercial web applications in C# (Essential)

Experience building applications for Azure (Essential)

Commercial experience building UI’s using React or a similar JavaScript framework e.g. Angular (Essential)

Real world experience utilising OO, reusable patterns and structured design principles (Essential)

Experience building server-side API Services (Essential)

Experience working on projects which use Agile and Scrum (Essential)

Commercial experience building automated tests (Essential)

Knowledge

The ability to estimate effectively and achieve tight deadlines (Essential)

Knowledge of Continuous Integration & automation tools such as Azure DevOps (Essential)

Secure coding principals for OWASP top 10 security risks (Desirable)

Good understanding of T-SQL and table design (Desirable)

SaaS product development (Desirable)
