Job Purpose
To analyse financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions.
Key Result Areas
Routinely communicate business unit and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications. Coordinate the capital spending review process for the company.
Understanding all the cost lines in P&L well and can design and create various Mito support Businesses/ Functions decisions making.
Prepare presentations in support of board and shareholder meetings, monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings, and various strategic committees of the company.
Advise senior management team on financial planning (e.g. acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers, and loans).
Recommends debt structures by analysing refinancing options.
Lead scenario modeling efforts for the development and growth of the portfolio. Participate as a key thought leader of the global finance team, influencing decision making, identifying finance priorities, managing directly and indirectly - finance staff in multiple locations.
Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Model potential changes to capital structure, acquisition and divestiture planning, shareholder returns.
Monitor competitive dynamics of the sectors (liaise with sector associates).
Partner with accounting, treasury, tax as appropriate.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
An ability to present and explain investment information and financial plans.
Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans.
Uphold the Values of the Group and Company at all times.
Provide direction and assistance to colleagues as needed.
Support Senior Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis.
Market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
Reporting on financial performance and preparation for regular leadership reviews.
Analyse past results, perform variance analysis; identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
5 years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, especially with exposure to international operations.
CPA Qualified- Big 4 experience, MBA preferred.
Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects).
Proven work experience as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst, or relevant role.
Significant experience managing people with strong, professional communication and writing skills.
IFAS knowledge is helpful.
