Learning & Development Officer - EXPO, Emirates Flight Catering, Dubai

Work Location (s): Dubai International Airport, Dubai Investments Park, and/or EXPO 2020 site.
 

Job Purpose:

To coordinate and support the development and delivery of effective learning & development programs and organisational development initiatives.

Key Result Areas:

Conduct the training needs analysis by engaging relevant stakeholders from the business department.
Design and develop program content by researching, developing and documenting specific subject matter content according to the curriculum standards.
Plan, design and develop assessment activities and processes by confirming purposes and context of assessment with relevant stakeholders to meet regulatory or organisational requirements as appropriate.
Determine the effectiveness of the training programs using recognised evaluation Model and report against agreed KPIs.
Monitor regulatory requirements for staff training and competence and ensure that all requirements and subsequent changes are reflected in all statutory and mandatory training.
Stay current on new/innovative practices and trends in the field of learning & development.
Conduct Post Training Assessments and on the Job evaluation to check participants’ understanding of the learning attained and the level of implementation in their job roles and performance.
Provide development by coaching and 1 to 1 support where the need for this has been established.
Record, collate and retain management information to demonstrate progress against KPIs and departmental goals and objectives
 

Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:
 

Education Qualification:

Train the Trainer Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

Work Experience:

Should have minimum 5 years of experience in Learning and development division in designing and delivering learning & development solutions.

Skills:

Ability to function independently in a multi-tasking environment, as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniques
Excellent program design and delivery skills
Superior presentation, facilitation and assessment skills
Excellent Interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in English
Leadership, influencing, and team building skills
