Who are we looking for? (About you)
Our Senior Accountant is responsible for administering the accounting function including financial and regulatory reporting; maintaining and improving accounting system and processing in a high level of expertise & competency. You are expected to take ownership/ high responsibility while achieving consistent results.


BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field.
Preferred 5+ years’ related experience.
Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and GAAP.
SAP or Oracle financial application experience is a must
Very good at English
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
Preferred working in an accounting & auditing office/Companies


What are your responsibilities? Your life as a Senior Accountant
Responsible for preparing and providing timely & accurate financial statements.
Ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, reviewing, and reporting.
Preparing Journal entries and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Assisting the accounting manager in analysis and reporting as needed.
Assisting external auditor as needed.
Gaining a depth knowledge about the current legal framework encompassing both contemporary accounting and tax laws.
Improving accounting systems and procedures and initiates corrective actions.
Establishing and maintains documentation cycles on a daily basis.
Updating account receivable and issue invoices.
Updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
Spotting errors and suggest ways to improve the quality of accounting processes
Meeting closing and reporting deadlines.
Preparing tax reports (VAT, Withholding tax, Income tax,...etc)
Communicating with the lawyer in various procedures.
