Using our platforms, thousands of businesses have access to wholesale listing from hundreds of suppliers at convenient cost and service.

As a Data Scientist, you are invited to be part of our journey. We are looking for someone who can work on pushing our data products to new horizons. You will be working on analyzing raw information to find patterns that will help improve the ecosystem of Sary. You will work with the team of Sary to build data products that create value by applying data-driven decisions and present valuable business insights.

Responsibilities:
Build and own data-driven products in collaboration with engineering members
Shape the direction of Sary’s data infrastructure
Design, build, and evaluate product experiments
Build internal tooling to promote data-driven decision making within the organization
Prototype predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across product, operations, marketplace, and marketing teams

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer
Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python. Familiarity with other programming languages is an asset
Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau), data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop, spark), and machine learning frameworks(e.g. Tensorflow)
Analytical mind and business acumen
Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
